Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

  • License Details. When you activate Kiseki Standard or Lifetime, we store your email, license code, and (if applicable) Lemon Squeezy customer ID. This data lives inside the macOS Keychain.
  • Order Metadata. Lemon Squeezy processes every purchase. We receive the order number and license token required to validate your plan. We never see your card number.
  • Support Emails. Messages sent to support@kisekiapp.com are retained for troubleshooting.

Kiseki does not transmit gesture data, shortcuts, clipboard contents, or analytics.

2. On-Device Storage

  • Gesture presets and app rules live in ~/Library/Group Containers/com.naviapps.Kiseki/Defaults as JSON blobs with a 500ms debounce.
  • Trial information and activation status are encrypted by the macOS Keychain API.
  • Deleting the app does not automatically remove Keychain entries. Use “Reset License” inside Settings > License if you are migrating devices.

3. How We Use Information

  • Validate and activate licenses (Standard subscription, Lifetime license, or Setapp entitlement).
  • Send customer-portal links so you can manage or cancel subscriptions through Lemon Squeezy.
  • Respond to support tickets or refund requests.

4. Third-Party Processors

  • Lemon Squeezy. Secure checkout, subscription billing, customer-portal hosting, and license issuance. Policy: lemonsqueezy.com/privacy
  • Apple (Setapp). When you launch Kiseki with LICENSE_MODE=setapp, Setapp validates your subscription. Setapp’s own privacy terms apply.

5. Data Retention

License records remain until you request deletion or your subscription expires plus 90 days. Support threads may be kept for audit purposes. Locally stored gesture data stays on your Mac until you remove it.

6. Your Rights

  • Request a copy or deletion of the license data we store.
  • Ask us to remove your customer ID from Lemon Squeezy (which also cancels the subscription).
  • Opt out of support follow-ups at any time.

7. Changes

If we update this policy, we will bump the “Last Updated” date and summarize changes inside the release notes.
